(Nasdaq: RADS) today announced that it has launched Aloha Configuration Center, a powerful configuration platform enabling multi-store restaurant operators to quickly manage, schedule and distribute data across all their units using robust software architecture. “Aloha Configuration Center has provided many benefits to our restaurants, from the ability to quickly update prices, add new menu items and configure taxes to ultimately reducing our overall administrative needs,” said Shane Sanford, I.T. manager at Back Yard Burgers. “The software integrated seamlessly with our existing Aloha POS and has quickly relieved the burden of making system changes at each individual site.” Built on the Microsoft .NET platform, Aloha Configuration Center is an above-store point-of-sale management solution that gives operators remote administration capability through an easy-to-learn user interface. Combining the ability to manage multiple sites through multiple applications allows for easy site system changes that are made through an automatic data distribution method. In addition, a secure offline mode allows users to make modifications without persistent site connectivity, which update when the connection is restored. Aloha Configuration Center has already been implemented in more than 2,000 quick service and table service restaurant sites, including Smokey Bones and two major Burger King franchisees, Heartland Food Group and Strategic Restaurants Acquisition Company. “We are excited to expand the Aloha Enterprise solution to include Aloha Configuration Center, which is one of the most powerful and effective restaurant management tools Radiant has released to date,” said Paul Langenbahn, president of the hospitality division at Radiant Systems. “Aloha Configuration Center will allow restaurant administrators to quickly deploy configurations across the board, saving them both time and money.” About Radiant Systems, Inc.
