Radiant Systems Unites with Top Chicago Sporting Teams

Quest Venue Management point-of-sale solution chosen as new technology for world-class United Center

ATLANTA (January 19, 2010) – Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) today announced the successful deployment of its Quest Venue Management point-of-sale solution at the United Center in Chicago, home of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks as well as host to more than 200 entertainment events each year.

“We looked at a number of point-of-sale providers in our search to replace our existing technology,” said Steve Schulze, Chief Information Officer at the United Center. “The Quest solution by Radiant Systems, with its incredibly fast credit processing and ease of use, was by far the best solution to meet our needs.  We are very pleased with the product and its implementation by Radiant.”

To ensure the chosen point-of-sale technology partner aligned with its goal of providing world-class service to the millions of guests who attend the arena’s events, the United Center team evaluated all point-of-sale technology available in the marketplace today. Radiant’s Quest solution, developed specifically for the stadiums and arenas industry, stood apart from the competition. The proven reliability along with the responsiveness and commitment of the Radiant team were large factors in the United Center’s decision.

“Being one of the busiest and most innovative arenas in the world, United Center needed a technology partner that would both keep up with and stay ahead of their needs,” said Scott Kingsfield, President of the Retail, Sports and Entertainment Division at Radiant Systems. “Radiant is excited and proud to be that chosen partner.”
